From BBQ Demo Night to Completed Outdoor Kitchen
We first met the developer behind Laranjeiras in Santa Bárbara at one of our BBQ demonstration nights. After seeing our outdoor kitchens and Napoleon grills in action, he invited us to visit the development and provide a quotation for their outdoor kitchen and entertainment requirements.
The brief was to create a 3-metre outdoor kitchen that would complement the contemporary style of the luxury villas, their natural stone walls and stunning sea views.
Using our 3D kitchen configurator, we were able to design the kitchen together with the developer during a single site visit. This allowed us to explore the size, layout, cabinet finish, worktop, grill and accessories in real time, making the specification and decision-making process quick and straightforward.
Following the site visit, we were appointed to provide a complete turnkey service — designing, supplying and installing the outdoor kitchen, including the required electrical and gas works.

The Installation
Careful preparation meant everything was ready before the kitchen arrived. This included coordinating the electrical works and relocating existing uplights within the technical flooring to accommodate the new kitchen.
With the preparation completed in advance, the entire 3-metre outdoor kitchen was installed in a single day, keeping disruption to the development to a minimum.
Once installed, the gas bottle was connected and the system and valve fully tested. All packaging and installation waste was removed, and the area was left clean, complete and ready for immediate use.
The Result
What started as a conversation at one of our BBQ demo nights became a fully designed, supplied and installed outdoor kitchen at Laranjeiras, Santa Bárbara.
More importantly, the project has developed into an ongoing relationship, with Quinta Outdoor Kitchens now selected as the development’s approved outdoor kitchen supplier for future requirements.
